A Tough Evening for the B Team
The B Team had a challenging evening at home on Tuesday (14/10/25), falling 4–0 to our promotion rivals from the Lichfield/Burton club.
Our opponents fielded a very strong side, and it showed — their players found tactical opportunities that we unfortunately missed. Despite this, we fought hard across all boards, taking the Staffordshire team into the early endgame stages. Justin deserves a special mention for holding out the longest and showing real determination.
It’s shaping up to be a long season, but we’ll keep improving — both as a team and as individual players — and our moments will come.
